Marriage lookup - possibly Norwich
« on: Tuesday 20 April 10 03:15 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a marriage between Thomas Fulcher and Mary, surname possibly Hunt, in the early 1830s.  Both Thomas and Mary were from Suffolk and lived in Yaxley after their marriage but there is no sign of a marriage in Suffolk.

Mary had family living in Norwich in 1851 so there is a sliver of a chance that they married in Norfolk.  Thomas was born abt 1804 in Weybread and Mary in Yaxley in 1807.

I know it isn't much to go on but I'd appreciate any quick checks to see if something turns up.

Thanks,
Lynwen

Marriage on FreeReg:

Thomas Fulcher, bachelor of Yaxley, Suffolk and Mary Hunt, spinster - married by Licence on 14/10/1833 St. Peter Southgate, Norwich, Norfolk.   7 Witnesses which you can see on the FreeReg entry (4 of them were named Johnson).

Fantastic!  Thank you Annette.  I really thought I was looking for a needle in a haystack with this one!

I've never found my main branches on FreeReg so I have to admit I don't regularly check it but I will have to add it to my favourites now.

Thanks again for the super fast reply.  I can start my work day with a smile now. ;D
