Benjamin was my G G grandad, father of my Grandma Harriet Agnes. My G G grandma was Mary Ann (nee French) I would like to know if anyone knows of any family today.Mary Ann re married Alfred Holmes and went on to have 5 more children. My Grandma Harriet had 2 brothers Edmund William and Frederick who of course were Crowson.    Shella

Hello Shella, .... & what is the Bedfordshire connection...?

Is this Benjamin Crowson born Dogsthorpe, Northants & married Mary Ann French in Peterborough RD in Dec 1864 (info gleaned from Ancestry & FreeBMD) - & possibly Mary was born 1847 Thorney, Cambs

It might be better to pursue this on Genes Reunited as there are a number of contacts who have both of these in their trees.

Good Hunting..    Regards John

Hi John  Thanks for your reply,as Grandma Harriet ended up in Bedford which is where I was born, I realised that I was asking for information on the wrong site, it should have been on the Peterborough one............I will try Genes United.    Shella
