Hi, apologies as I know this is quite an old thread now. I have just discovered my grandma’s sister lived at cranage - Cheshire records office have records of her being there from June 1939. We never knew about her, just that there was a sister who was in care, and since doing the tree found out she only passed in 2000 :( I notice a few people worked there and am just wondering if anyone has any memories of her? She was called Gladys May Malcolm, born 1923. She was 16 when she was sent there, and I assume she lived there until close, as when she died she was in supported living in middlewich. Thank you for reading.
