Secondly, how do I go about gaining a copy of this record?
I am new to researching in Cape Town SA.

The record below is for an Estate File, containing the death notice, which is held in the Pietermaritzburg Archives and not in Cape Town.
She obviously died in 1912 and her estate finalised in 1913. If you read the stickys at the top of the South Africa board you will see more info on how to order a death notice and what it contains.
