Marriage JACKSON/TUCKWELL
« on: Sunday 11 April 10 05:24 BST (UK) »
My grandfather was William Vincent Jackson 1882-1954 he was born in Sydney and his parents are William (John) Henry Jackson and his mother Florence Tuckwell. I can't find marriage or deaths.  They were here as they had a son but not on any passenger lists or BMD.
Thanks
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn

I can't seem to find his birth on the NSW bdm.  Do you have his birth certificate?  Where did he die in 1954?

Cheers

Hi All
It strikes me as an unusual coincidence, too, that the name of the first child to WILLIAM JACKSON and ALICE KEALY was
 MONICA FLORENCE
reg. 15651 in  1914. QLD.

Hi cando,
William Thomas was a brother.
He has a ww2 record also and he lists his NOK as William Jackson.

This is an infant death in NSW. Bit doubtful, but worth posting

In 1906  JACKSON  SYDNEY F. father  WILLIAM H. mother  FLORENCE  SYDNEY reg. 20855

ADDING
, just saw you had the ww2 link already up

Death Qld
1952/3988
JACKSON William
Father William Henry   Mother Florence

So you are looking for the marriage of the parents of this William who died in 1952 and according to the age on the burial record, was born c1877.  Do you have this death certificate?

Cheers

Thanks Cando
I had that as I knew all those jacksons as Alice was my grandmother Thomas my father and Patricia my mother.  It is the jackson tuckwell connection that I can't find.  I have nothing on them except their name off Williams death cert.
Marilyn

Yes I have his death cert
Do you think there could be any connection to Sydney or is 19 years too long to behaving children. I don't have any brother or sisters for william Vincent (1882)
