Manchester Crem all records before 1941 were destroyed in the Manchester Blitz

The only records that remain are from memorials and strangly the fist 412 cremations, which I have checked sorry but no Kennedy's

Do you know what religion they were? If they were Roman Catholic, they may well be buried in a private cemetery/ church yard?
ST. Joseph's in Moston is a little away from Denton but worth a try. Trouble is they charge for burial searches i think? It opened in 1877 so was open when you need it.
Worth looking at what was open back then on this site.  Click here 4 Manchester cemeteries

St Joseph's Cemetery Moston Lane, Moston, Manchester, M40 9QL. Telephone: 0161 681 1582.

Kev
when you looked up your burials in the councils cemeteries did you look at all religions C.O E. Catholic and Non conformist? with me when I do look-ups and they are definitely not catholic. so must be C.O.E. I look there first if they are not found there.I will find them on the non-con film :)That's if they buried where i am looking :)

The website might not but it should  ??? surely like all council cemeteries catholics are buried on the Catholic section
as are C.O.E  sec and Non-con sec.The three religions are on different films. If someone asked for a burial look-up how would they find it if they don't know the religion ???
