Hi Fifer

Would you mind looking up a few OPR christenings for Dunfermline, Fife, please?

They are some of the children of Peter BAIN and Mary HEARNE.

Margaret BAIN, b 19 Feb 1815, c 26 Feb 1815.
Nathanail BAIN, b 27 Jul 1817, c 17 Aug 1817.
Mary BAIN, b 20 Nov 1819, c 26 Dec 1819.

I'm interested in whether they give an occupation for Peter, as he was described as a soldier on his son's (Jeremiah) christening record in 1810.

Cheers

Alastair

Hi Fifer,

If you have the time could you possibly look at this query for me on the 1841 Census. It's most likely to be in the Calton area of Barony. If you have even more time than that could you possibly check the same family in the 1851 census.

Thanks
Looking for Hugh Marr and Mary Drummond.

Hi there Fifer,
Is It possible for you to do a 1851 Census lookup for me?

I'm searching for a James Hendry, DOB according to 1871 census 1825 in Ireland, whereabouts, not noted, so can't trace his Birth Cert for sure.

I Know he was in the Old Monkland, Coatbridge area in 1858, as I have his sons Birth Cert for then, on another sons Birth Cert it gives his Marriage to Susan Clark nee Pollock as 1852, Girvan or St Quivox, Ayr (the text is blurred), and on a Daughter's Birth Cert, it states her, as being Born in  Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.

So Fifer... if you could do a lookup for me in the Girvan, St Quivox, Kilmarnock areas of Ayrshire, I'd be very grateful.

Thx
Jim.Hendry.  :)
