William Cairns born abt 1810 Chillingham
« on: Tuesday 06 April 10 20:41 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace the birth/marriage records for William Cairns who married Dorothy Ann Nelson around 1833.

According to census records William was born abt 1810 in Chillingham, Dorothy was from nearby Whittingham and was born abt 1817.

If I can trace William's birth record I'm hoping it will lead me to find out who his parents were and if he had any siblings.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'd just like to extend my gratitude to both Pete Ash & Jora for providing the feedback on my great grandfather.

I've sent many hours trying to locate his birth record and you both provided me information within a fraction of the time I've spent looking for him.
Your help has been much appreciated
