I found an article from an Idaho Falls newspaper written within days of the crime which gives more detail on what occurred during and after the robbery.  If you want me to e-mail it to you, send me your e-mail in a private message.

David Avon Frame had an earlier wife, Kathryn Roberts Higham. She was born 31 January 1906 and died 5 January 1923. She married David on 4 May 1922. I was told she died of complications during pregnancy. Kathryn was my aunt, but died before I was born. My mother, Emma Elizabeth Higham ( Maxwell ) was 8 years old when she died.

At the time of David's murder, Utah offered those senteced to death the option of firing squad or hanging. The young man chose hanging because it would cause the state more trouble and expense. Utah borrowed a hangman from Kansas and he died as requested
