Was hoping for more informaton from these passenger lists but I can only see one reference to Ada going to South Wales.

Hope things are okay and today has been a better day. This is good news and perhaps dates the marriage as well
Just to remind you Janet Powell born 9 May 1871 in Eckley, Foster Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
Ada gave the date of immigration as 1870 on the 2 nd Passport Appilcaton. This 1870 Census was taken on the 1 st June 1870.  Age is out again but its the right people in the right place at the right time !!

Ada Powell appears in the City Directory 1936/37/38 Ithaca. New York which is just confirming what we read on the passenger lists really.

Social Service League, Ada Powell, Head Wkr. West Side House. 920 W. Buffalo and North Side House, 119 third.

Other entries show other names:- President, Vice President, Secretary Treasurer etc.,

1952 City Directory  - Ithaca -  says -   r110 W Seneca (Think the "r" stands for rents.
