Thanks for the birthday wishes Carol.
Margaret Morton was my Great Aunt, my Granddad John's sister. I was in and out of their house on a daily basis as a child. I am in touch with some 2nd cousins through Facebook. Sisters Margaret Hoey and Ann Murray. They are from the Allingham line and I believe Margaret or Aunt Maggie, as I knew her was their Grandmother. Also I have a second cousin called Ron Sinton who is from Maggie's line also. There is a story that some of the Allingham boys left for Canada and joined what was then called The Northwest Mounted Police but I am not sure of which boys they were. I have also found some Allinghams in America from California, both living in Nevada. Another Rob and Joanne. Joanne's married name is Puttman. Carol, I would glad to keep in touch and any help we can give each other can only be good.
Take care.

Hello William

Thank you for the message yesterday, Sunday.  It was interesting to read of your family connections.  I don't know any of the names you mention unfortunately and have been concentrating on the Allingham line mainly rather than Morton.  I think I may be a generation behind you.  I know that Robert's sister Mary Allingham, my great great aunt, married William George of Scotland and one of their sons was in the Royal Flying Corps and sadly died in October 1917.  It would be great to keep in touch so I look forward to hearing from you again when convenient
Regards Carol
