i am trying to find anyone who has any information on
joseph martin mcglory who married ivy eileen griffiths in 1942,bedford,
i have there marriage certificate
joseph was age 26
ivy eileen griffiths was age 19,
ivy,s  father was thomas john griffiths and he is the one i would like to find out about,
i think ivy could have been born in bedwelty monmouthshire,
any help would be appreciated

My nan was called Ivy McGlory known as Eileen married to Joseph McGlory known as Martin.  Both lived in Bedfordshire and my nan was Welsh.

Im afraid i dont know much about their parents but though you may like to know.

I was just messing around on the internet and put my grandads name in and this site came up so though i'd reply.

what does it say as thomas john griffiths occupation on the marriage cert
i can only find one marriage between a thomas.j.griffiths and a miss james
that is in 1913 in crickhowell,breconshire; thomas.j.griffiths/kate james

on the marriage certificate he is down as a
coal hewer,

there is a thomas j griffiths born 1888 and a kate james born 1889 in crickhowell in 1911. thomas is a coal miner and kate is a domestic servant they are not together at this time
thomas is born breconshire and kate is born birmingham(possibly your thomas?)
