Borlands Building was part of Portland Square on the Beehive Brae, through Flemington Cross, under the railway bridge heading for Craigneuk. It would have been on the right-hand side going up, past Mrs Givens' pub (the Beehive). Just about opposite where Belhaven Church is now, only a little further down.
According to the 1925 directory, James Dunn, labourer lived at 364 (which would be the house number for Craigneuk Street probably).
William Borland had a grocer's shop there so I guess he owned the building.
