Hi Chris
Thanks for your reply, I will just have to keep trying, looking at my family tree, You said to me that your grand-mother was one of 15 children, father William and mother Elizabeth Challinor, I have just noticed that your Grand-mothers brother William born 1847 married Sarah A Lewis, Sarah was my Great-grand-fathers sister, that were my connection to the Sandbach family starts, my family tree site is on Myheritage, do you wish to become a member?.

Hi Ivor, I am already a member of "My Heritage" on the Palin side of my dad's family, so I haven't added to the tree it was all done for me.It's a small world really when you look at the family relationships. There are a lot of Sandbach names of the Cheshire family history site, have you checked those out to find your Neild connection ? Regards Chris.

Hi
I'm piecing things together, am I right in saying that you are Susan Sandbach Mellet?, I have just sent you a message on UK surnames.
