Hi Bill
No I don't have those names in my family

"Or have you just been a particularly kind person helping me along? " yes, that's me !!!, can't help myself if I see something that comes up.

Check deaths as there are 2 around the time Mary was born in Chelsea and another about 1851 in Marylebone before Andrew's second marriage,  from memory but I am sure it would help you, if they sailed without little Mary the chances are the poor child had died

1841 showing piece no 680 Paddington missing as is 690 Paddington Kensington, Brompton and Kensal Green, frustrating as I have whole families there but I have caught up with them on later census

Happy hunting

Hello Ian

Thanks for the welcome to RootsChat and an even bigger thank you for all the Tilling information. Had placed the request for information on the site as a first timer, not knowing what sort or even whether there would be a response. So am mightily pleased to have such a response so quickly.

I see when I clicked on your profile that you have New Zealand as your location. Assume that is your residential address. I was born there but the spooky thing is that I am now living quite close to where all these Tillings and Spillards emigrated from. I am sure there are places for me to go and read records, which indeed I will do, but I rather new to constructing the family tree and still getting to grips with so many different international ways of recording and reviewing.

Obviously I immediately wonder whether there is a link in relations for us? You know that Elizabeth was my great-great grandmother. Do you mind if I ask your link to the family?

Anyway, will away and review all this wonderful information. Thank you once again. More than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Bill

Like Louisa Maud I do not have the names in the family, just helping.

There were Spillards in the area where I live. None any more though.

Hi Eyesee, I noticed you mentioned Little Chesterfield Street and just thought I would add:  My Great Uncle - Thomas Noyce, died at the age of 2 at No. 4, Little Chesterfield Street.
