Ann's birthplace is given as Clytha in the parish of Llanarth

http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/MON/Llanarth/index.html

Her baptism is transcribed here and also one for a Charles in 1857, but he looks to have died before the 1861 census RG9/3991 folio 26 pg 13

Edward & Mary Ann's marriage is transcribed from the records of their home parish
Penrhos in 1856. Their baptisms also appear in 1827 & 1832.

There's an extracted IGI baptism for Edward in Raglan batch C023931 16/1/1862 & it appears in the transcribed records for Raglan

Hi Nicola/Lyndsey

I've just started doing my family research-- turns out that Edward Williams (1863-1964) is my great great grandfather's brother! So I guess we're cousins somehow?

It would be great if we could perhaps chat about our respective research- I'd love to know more about Edward's profession as a gardener and also more about your links to Sarah Lyndsey! She's one of the people I've not haad much luck finding info out about.

Would be great if you could get in touch ( I couldn't find a direct way of contacting members on here,) so look forward to perhaps chatting soon

Thanks!

Laura

Hi Laura

I'm not 100% if Sarah is the right sarah in my tree, but if she is i believe that she married Lewis Martin in 1885 then had 5 children; Martha A, Tabitha, William Edward, Celia and Evan D. Martha being my great grandmother. Do you know anything about Sarah at all then?

Thanks!

Lyndsey :)

Hi Lyndsey

Sorry it has taken so long to reply! I was doing some other research on the Williams side of my family and this came up in the search results!

Perhaps we can compare our research outside of the forum to determine if our Sarah's are a match? Feel free to send me a message with your email address and hopefully we can get comparing!

Thanks!

Laura  :)
