Eastern Cemetery
« on: Friday 26 March 10 19:57 GMT (UK) »
I know it's a longshot, but would anyone who lives near the  Eastern Cemetery be able to take a photo of a head stone for me if its still standing?

The head stone was erected by Alexander Oram in the memory of his children who were interred in the Howff.

Also inscribed on the stone is Alexander himself d 1883 and his wife Jean Hutchinson who died 1906. I belive the last inscription on the stone was Jessie Oram who dieds in 1928.

As I said it is a longshot.

Hi Lindyloo,
I beleive it's the eastern cemetery in dundee. Alexander and other orams  lived in carmichael street and Lochee road at the time of deaths. I have contacted Dundee burials to ask if they can give me the grave number and location of the grave.
Thanbk you for your input to my query
