William was a Charity Schoolmaster in Eribol in 30.11.1776. The William Calder I am trying to confirm as my Gx5 G/father married Grissel Ross in Durness 7.4.1786. However on his son Hugh's death certificate William was stated to be a farmer.
Does anyone have any information to ascertain that he was in fact a farmer and charity schoolmaster?
