Moran Family at Johnson's Court

OK, on page 2 of the following search results you'll see Julia Moran daughter of Denis of Johnson's Court marrying  in 1861.  Page 1 of the results shows Julia's birth in St Nicholas parish in 1841 and, in 1840 also in St Nicholas, the wedding of Denis (in Latin) Moran and Mary Ann (Maria Anna) Grady. Unfortunately no addresses or parents' names for Denis and Mary Anne.

Hi there - instinct is saying that Mary O'Grady's father's name was Timothy O'Grady. One of the witness' at her wedding to Denis Moran was a Timothy O' Grady (her brother I presume). It's most likely that Timothy Moran was named after this grandfather.

It's possible then that this MAY be the family:

If her Dad was Timothy, there is also this possibility.  St Catherine's parish is adjacent to St Nicholas and her age would be a bit more consistent with an 1840 wedding.  Could be either or neither of course.

hi i hope this may help the moran family  my great grandfather married ellen moran at st andrews church westland row  dublin on the 11 2 1872  they lived in leeson place  ellens parents were john and mary  their other children were thomas  john  james i have certs for marriage  hope this helps pussycat
