Nothing on Charles. I assume he didn't play for the WBA first team as only players who played in the league are listed.

I wonder if you could look up brothers Albert & Jack Jarvis. Albert signed for QPR in 1913 while Jack played for Aston Villa in 1912. I would appreciate any details.

Played Right and Left Half
1 cap for England

Played Chelmsford City (non-league)
Then:
1936-37 Southend Utd (31 games, 2 goals)
1938-46 Newcastle Utd (74 games, 1 goal)
1948-54 Lincoln City (233 games, 2 goals)
Then Blyth Spartans

Looks like he was in the right area at the right time and then returned to play for Blyth at the end of his career

It is him

My info is from my early days of research. I was told his name as the husband of a cousin of a granma.

Have just checked their marriage in the GRO index & it was John D not James D!
