James (Jim) Tildesley

Born: Halesowen: 07-10-1881
Jim began his career with his home town club Halesowen St John, before he joined First Division Newcastle United in February 1903. He played 21 league games + 1 FA Cup game before joining Middlebrough in September 1906. He played 23 league and 2 F.A. Cup games, but mainly spent time in the reserves before moving on to Leeds City in 1909. At Leeds he only played 5 league games and 1 FA Cup game, less than a year later he moved to non-league Luton Town
His brother Thomas Tildesley was also on Newcastles books
