Anyone going to Kew
« on: Monday 22 March 10 19:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Is anyone one going to Kew and prepared to do a search for me please or point me towards a trusted individual who undertakes this kind of work? I am willing to pay for time. I just can't get there and would have appeared to have exhausted all other avenues. I am trying to find the Baptism of James Kearsley in the following:

WO 156/415
Royal Military Chapel, St James's Park, London
Covering dates 1838 Jan 01 - 1852 Dec 31

Years 1840, 1841. Although May, June 1840 seem the most likely. Parents Richard Kearsley of the Grenadier Guards and Wife Sarah. Birth info has Westminster St Margarets as the parish he was born in and the RMC falls under that parish.

Many Thanks

Matt

Hi

I'm sorry I'm not going to Kew but if your local library has free access to Ancestry (in the UK) the information you are looking for may be on the parish records.  You may also request help on the London board.  People are very generous with their help and time on there.

Best of luck with your research.
