Ellen NICKLASS

I am trying to find some info re Ellen Nicklass b 1811 Cambs . She went on to marry James HOBBS and had 5 children before she died  26 APR 1846.

Can anyone assist with date / location of marriage and parents names and siblings if any.

What's the evidence that she was born in Cambs? In 1841 her birthplace is NOT Cambs, and her age of 30 covered a range 30-34, so she could have been born as early as 1806. According to Camdex at http://www2.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/db/riddeaths.nsf/search?OpenForm she was 36 at death

Chippenham is only a mile from Suffolk. Perhaps they married there

I assume you have her name from the member submission on the IGI which gives a precise date for the marriage, but no place, which doesn't fill me with confidence

I can't see a baptism for Ellen on the Cambridgeshire index.

She is my 3xgreat grandmother through the daughter of Henry James and Jane Hoddell.  Her name is Mary Evalina Hobbs.

Is there any mileage in looking laterally at Susan Nickless, the witness at Ellen's marriage? Sister perhaps?
