Looking for Samuel Couture's parents

I am looking for info on Samuel Couture's parents. The info I have so far is as follows.

Samuel Couture
born Abt July 10, 1866 QB
parents John Couture and Elizabeth ?
1.m October 24, 1891 Bracebridge, On
Josephine O'Brien
born Abt 1871 On
parents John O'Brien and MAry Ellen ?
2.m Novemmber 2, 1907 Penetanguishene, On
Maragret McKay
born Abt September 1868 Birmingham, England
parents John McKay and Mary Hughes
Desjardines, Dauphin, Rouille, Renneau, Rouia, Raville, Roiville, Ruseau, Rouseau, Rouleaux

Hi Julie,

On his first marriage (to Josephine) his parents are listed as John and Biomiere Couture.
The second marriage (to Margaret) they are listed as John and Elizabeth Couture.

I have found Samuel and Maggie on the 1911 Census.

Samuel Couture aged 44
Maggie Couture aged 42
George Couture aged 20
Ida Couture aged 17
Grace Couture aged 10
Edward Couture aged 8

They were partially listed as "Courtney" on the transcription.

I found a Joseph Samuel Couture born in 1866 in Ste-Claire, Quebec, but it's rather fuzzy.  Hard to make out the parents names.

Do you know if his parents were born in Canada??

yes. they were probably born in Quebec as most Couture Descendants are from there when they came from France

The Samuel found by aislynnt was born in November, in Sainte-Claire parish. He has parents named Joseph Couture, farmer, and ___ (hard to read) dite Lavallière, godfather Charles Couture, godmother Marie Lamontagne. Neither of them was able to sign.

Don't know if it's your Samuel though.
