There are two Cheshire John Perrins of about the right age in the 1851 census. The first was born in 1805 at Morley, Cheshire and was living at Rose Cottage, Nether Alderley, so he was probably the one on the tithe map. The other was born in 1807 at Pownall Fee, which was part of Wilmslow and (from my local knowledge) I suspect, later became known as Ringway. This second one was living at Oversley Ford, Pownall Fee in 1851 which I think was the opposite side of Wilmslow from Nether Alderley. He was probably your ancestor. The 1841 census does of course only give birth counties.
