The area you're both referring to is predominantly Cheshire - the airport is on the border with Trafford and I've a feeling it may technically be Manchester. Anyway it means that old pictures can be on all these sites. Trafford & Manchester both returned hits for Ringway, for example. Hope you can find something of use!
