Lena Barber born 1912 in Irlam

Hi All
I'm doing some research for a cousin who is trying to trace his Aunt Lena Barber. She was born on 11th Feb 1912 to Fred Barber and Eliza Cook in Irlam Lancashire. The cousin thinks she may have died quite youg ( ie about age 16) but I can't find a death of a Lena Barber around that time. I have tried to look at possible marriages and then trace the deaths of those Lenas but although their ages at death are near our Lena - none seem to match exactly. One Possible candidate is a Lena Livesey who married Eric Livesey in 1928 and possibly died in 1947 ( age 38) .
Anyone who has a Lena Barber in their tree that matches ours or anyone who has any thought of where I might go next please let me know.

Hiya Kate...Lena is registered b mar qtr 1912  Barton Irwell  8c 1236.......is Barton Irwell  the registration area for Irlam ? or do you have a slight spelling mistake ?....

on www.lancashirebmd.org.uk is the death of Lena Livesey nee Barber

Lena and Eric were married in Bury in1928....have you tried to find Lenas Parents in the 1911 census....?  Just found Fred Barber married Eliza Cook in Dec qtr 1911 in Barton Irwell..........so that`s a no.....maybe if you can find

Eliza Cook in the 1911 census ...probably in Barton Irwell area , you may then find where they were both born..realistically there are TWO possible marriages for Lena Barber...there`s another in Dewsbury in 1931 to a Robert A Jackson.........maybe just maybe Fred or Eliza came from Dewsbury and the family went back to live there...it`s worth a try..........allan

Hi Allen
Know about her parents as I got her birth cert and they were from Flixton - and Irlam. Barton upon Irwell is the registration district. I will check out the Jackson marriage. I may just have to send for a couple of marriage certs to see if I get a positive result.
