Could Millar possibly be the father's last name? My mom was also adopted By Joseph and Margaret (Gray) Wood in 1926 in Glasgow. Her birth surname was her father's and her middle name we assume is from father's side of the family. Her birth was listed in Glasgow but then transferred to Kilwinning where her mother lived.
