Hello, Shuftie.
Yes you guessed right. I am from Liverpool.
I am looking for WKC as he is my brother-in-laws gt. gt. grandfather. His family seems to think he was known as "judge campbell". I think his reputation was slightly over blown! I don't know much more than what you have said already. I don't have any knowledge of what happened to his wife Ann.
Regards David.

Need to ask his permission first to put his name on here. Get back to you on that another time.
The only other thing I know is that WKC is burried in Toxteth park cemetery. Check out their website it is very good. Notice the names of the children burried in the same grave!!!

Quite understand. I believe I know who it is and I have been trying to contact a member of the family for years. Suffice to say .... clue .... one of the children of a different name is buried with William ... now I think it may be a descendant of that name ..... but check first with them to see if it is o.k. Tell them I am the grandson of George Knight Campbell and Ethel Stoll. Wonderful to be in contact. Thank you for your correspondance with us both. Speak soon.   David

Hi Shuftie, I am red rum's sister. I really don't know where to start but here I go, I am am married to Edward ,son of Edward , son of Martha Campbell. . I can tell you that Henry, Edward and Ethel are now all deceased. My Eddy seems to recollect Joyce lived of Allerton Road not far from his aunt Effies (ethel) he not very good at remembering the past so most of what I have learnt has come from his dad before he died and from my mother in law Betty.
David my little brother has been a great help and I won't of got this far with out him. hope this make sense

Barbara

Barbara, great to be in  touch with you.  Mum knew of the passing of Edward,Henry and Ethel but is only aware of a William Knight Pedder.   Whoodat? Is that your Edward's brother or maybe she's got it mixed up.     Mum lived with Ethel and George Knight Campbell, her parents and my Grandparents, on Springwood Avenue, just around the corner from Mums and my old School.... Gilmour Springwood Primary School. I actually went to school there with a Laurence Pedder.  I often wondered if he was a relative of ours.Do you know of him?He would be about 21  ...... no I lied ... about 60 now. Ha Ha!        Speak soon, give my very best to your Edward and any other relatives  of course. Can you send your e/m address in a private message on this site??     Best regards,   David.
