hi mc2 zephyr.
thanks for your reply, i got an email from a warren rhind, his father was and i believe his father was the grandson of mary and james rhind. also the other person to contact me was bea mcgill she was married to one of angus  mcgills sons. gordon mcgill, so this would make him the great grandson of mary and james.  all i have for mary s daughter mary is she was born in elgin 1853, i have no dates after this so dont no who she married.  my grandfaher never told us about the family except that my nan and he went to scotland a lot to visit his family. we knew about the ones who emigrated to canada, there is still family there and still trying to find them.
mysister and i are doing this winchester tree and she as left me to do this part while she does the other upto now we are up to our 9xgreat grandfather of winchester.
if you can give me some information on your family it will be greatly appreciated you can email me ,i will let my sister know as soon as she emails me as she lives in holland and i live  kingston-upon-hull. east yorkshire. thanks again for your reply.
           kindest regards........jean............

This is a message for mk2-zephyr.. I saw online you had a thread concerning queenshill mansion at ringford. I live very near the former site, and my house looks onto Neilson's monument, About 6 months ago I found a picture of Queenshill Mansion my Dad had found in a Library book before he died. It is very hard to find any pictures of Queenshill and of another local building Lochenbreck Spa. If you still require a photo or any other information, please contact me at (*)   as i'm not too hot at forums etc. Thanks
