I think some clarification is necessary, George W Scott, had three children James, George and Joyce
James had two children with his first wife,
(*) and subsequently 2 children with his second wife,
(*).
George Scott, my father had three children,
(*)I have many papers written by George Scott Snr when working for the United Molasses Company
