ROY - Carnmoney -1802

I have found the following in the IGI:

John ROY
b. 19 August 1802
Carnmoney, Antrim, Ireland

father:  John ROY

I would appreciate a lookup in the church records for the name of his mother, siblings, a marriage for John (also called Robert)
and for his children.   Sarah was born in 1840 and Robert John was born in
1844.
The family immigrated to the USA in 1847.  They were Presbyterians.

The IGI record is submitted not extracted which means it may not be accurate (although since an exact date of birth is shown there is a possibility that it was taken from a source such as a baptism). It is the only 'Roy' entry in that batch number.
Carnmoney Presbyterian Church records do cover the period you need and might be the first plcae to start looking.

Hi pagenie.
I had a look in the material I have relating to Carnmoney Pres., baptisms, unfortunately I could not find John Roy, either junior or senior. What I have is incomplete, so someone else may come up with the info you require. Carnmoney Church of Ireland and Mallusk Presbyterian may be worth checking.
