Hello all,

Can anyone help me out?

I am looking for the parents of John Thomas Driver, born September, 1920, in Bury, Lancashire
Also need to find the parents of Ethel Duckworth, also born Bury in July 1921

I would appreciate any help I can get in tracing their parent's!

The birth registration for John gives mothers maiden name as Williams
Driver  John T  (Williams)  Blackburn  8e 658

And Ethels mmn is Holden

Births Sep 1921   
Duckworth  Ethel  (Holden)  Bury  8c 1033

If you look at freebmd a put into the births search Surname Driver, spouses surname Williams it will bring up quite a few children bn Blackburn district possibly siblings.

this gives a possible marriage in 1913

The same can be done with Ellen Duckworth 

However the only sure way you have the correct parents is by buying the birth certificates.
