Birth/Baptism Lookup Please - WAGSTAFF

Please can someone look up a birth of Georgina Wagstaff birth 1878. She died about one year later.  I want to know if Cornelius Wagstaff is the father, and Sarah Anne Broad is the mother.  Sarah died at the age of 21 soon after marrying Cornelius. (my great grandfather).  Thank you, Kit Kat.

Members of the public do not have access to the birth registers so you would need to buy a copy of the birth cert to confirm her parentage

If you need this info - I would recommend you order the cert before the 6th April when the costs are increasing to £9.25

You could put a condition on your application that you only want it if her parents were Cornelius & Sarah.  If it's the wrong one - the GRO will currently only charge you a £3 search fee

However - from 6th April - reference checking is being discontinued so you will have to pay the full fee whether it's the right one or not
