Hi Noz

Sorry for not replying to you sooner I have just come across your post.

I havent been able to link your John & William Mundie....I know that my Mundie side came from St Fergus in Banffshire, George Mundieb1807 parents Alexander Mundie & Christian Dargie.

Alexander & Christian's other children were Robert b1802, William b1803 & Alexander b1805, all born St Fergus.

Lindy-Lou

I notice in your post to Noz  your connection with Alexander Mundie and Christina Dargie she is related to me  Christina was the daughter of George Dargie born 1731 Corehill St Fergus and Ann Lillie, born 1747
my grandfather was also George Dargie his father was George Dargie married to Elizabeth Turriff, nest gen back is George Dargie and Ann Gallie (Gall) it may be the writing then George Dargie and Ann Lillie , so that would be 4 generations back from my grandfather.

Christina born 1765 married Alexander Mundie
George born 1774 married Ann Gallie (Gall) ?
John born 1778
William born 1768
Elizabeth born 1762
Elspet born 1772  married Robert Chalmers

hi grannysmoke

I've just come across your reply on this thread.  Thanks for the info, I have Chrisitians parents names(george Dargie & Anna Lillie)  i'd love to know where you found their years of birth, I've looked for them a few times and couldn't pinpoint them.  George and Anna are my x6 grandparents, so far I have been unable to get any further back.

hi elaine
thanks for census info, I'm assuming that Elisa is shortened version of Elizabeth, will look at tree but i'm pretty sure Christian's sister Elizabeth didn't marry (can't find info to say otherwise).
