Could someone look up a death for a Stephen Johnson, born in Sunderland tyne and wear in 1905, died there in 1911 aged 6yrs, parents Charles and Hannah Johnson...thanks mackim

If you are asking for information from the death cert - it can't be done.  Members of the public do not have access to those records so you would have to buy a copy of the cert to get further info

Have you checked freebmd which is the only source we would use for this type of info.  Is he on the 1911 census

You can search for certificates on Sunderland City Council website
 www.sunderland.gov.uk .   Look under Registrars Index
you'll still have to buy the cert to see if its him though!

he is on the 1911 census with different spelling - Steven

According to  Sunderland Registrars Indexes at http://www.sunderland.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1399 a death for a Stephen Johnson was registered in 1912, but his age is 0 according to http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/

Where did you get your info from re: his death.  There is no Stephen/Steven Johnson death in his age range up to 1914
