Could anyone help please with 1901 Census for I hope its Nottingham.I have Noel H (Herbert?) King his wife was born 1899 so he would I think be around the same date.his wife was Dorothy Hall they married 1928 Nottingham.

Have you tried free bmd to search for a birth for him which will then make it easier for you/people to find him on the census. Is it that you can not find him on 1901 or that you do not have access to it?

There is a Noel Herbert registered in March 1899 in Basford (Nottingham) I will do a search for him on census now

Hi, Thank you I have been looking for this person for ages,as a child they were my Uncle Ben!!! and aunty Doll why we called him uncle Ben I don't know,threw me for a long time,but his name was Noel.
