Just to make sure that we have covered the ground.

1861 Halifax index is online at www.1861census.co.uk. There does not appear to be a Squire Radcliffe of the right age.

1851 Halifax is online at www.familyhistoryonline.net (pay-per-view)

1. Squire RADCLIFFE found in Halifax 1851 Census 4 entries in Yorkshire W. Riding during 1851 £0.36

2. Squire RATCLIFFE found in Halifax 1851 Census 3 entries in Yorkshire W. Riding during 1851 £0.27

You really need Squire and Sarah Ann's marriage certificate to confirm which is the 'right' Squire in Hx.

I have found a date of birth for Squire Radcliffe 1836 but then I found 1836-1840 :(
The area of of birth is still unclear I have got Sowerby Bridge? Halifax Yorkshire.
Sarah Ann ? date of birth abt 1849
I have also got marries BEF 1869.
What does Bef mean and does any of this help.

bef means before

 so she married BEFORE 1869
