hi i was just looking through this website when i came across your email .my grandad john finnigan was born 1910 march 3rd he also went to america all the names you have quoted are all my ancestors names .could you have the dates mixed up . ive got catherine cassey 1822-1886 thomas finnigan 1820.patrick finnigan 1846-1915 alice winters 1815. margaret finnigan 1872 thomas finnigan 1874-1875 catherine finnigan 1877 james finnigan 1878-1942 .my dad 1938 who is john m finnigan there was two brothers which is were a lot of the tree gets mixed up one of there children was called peter he married ethel slavin whos grandfather was lord slavin she lived in india when she was growing up dont know if this helps any
Hi, sounds like were related!! My grandfather was Peter Finnigan who married Ethel the surname was "Sladen". Her grandfather was no lord (as I have researched the family) but his uncle was knighted and his other uncle was related by marriage to Lord Roberts..and his grandfather was a General in the East India Co. But going back to the Finnigan side, do you know any more about your grandfather? I have some more information on Patrick's siblings and his children. Was it ture about John Finnigan going to New York Empire State Building etc?
