Now you have 3 posts, you can send jacqueline a personal message (PM) by clicking on the green scroll under her name, then just typing whatever you want to say in the box that appears and clicking the "send " button.  No one else can read the message, so it's ok to send email addresses etc by PM.

If you want to look for Garbut Garbut etc. MBD on the FHS site do it here, as the new site will not pick up Wm Garbut or Will as William Garbutt ,Wm Garbutt, William Garbut, etc, like the old one did...nor any other phonetics...It just doesn't have the same diverse intuitive pickup of information as the old database...( which was wonderful, far superior! )
Compare with the new and see what I mean ...you can add BILSDALE MIDCABLE,YORK which is fine but must change spelling constantly to get all information..then if you add dates it will not find the York information at all...check on York and it is even worse, you may get some phonetic search, but you won't get any Midcable answers!!!
But here there are 2 christenings 1794 and one in 1798

Welcome to rootschat by the way, lindylou18! ( The new site has the p.m. scroll as green only if the person is online so it may also be white)
Just to clarify fro those reading through, that in Reply #12 ...I had put the url to the old site as they were still running both at the time...Unfortunately they have now go to the new site which does not work as well & they can argue with me till the cows come home that it is the same, but it is NOT!!! I now have to do several searches to try and squeeze all the available information out of the new site...Even their beta test in between the two worked better than the final they use now...
