It was FJ who wanted to move to K'boro after he married Barbara Moore, who had four children Leonard  [1905 - 1907] Sarah Emma [1907], Annie Beatrice [1909] and Jack Warner [1912 - 1944], their father Walter Warner Moore was killed working electric crane Tuesday May 12, 1914, Ontario Canada.

Hi Barbara,

Walter Warner Moore was my Great Grandfather, Jack had a son David who is my Dad.

Scratching my head about Walters demise - how did you dig up the details? Also wondering where the middle name Warner came from? Jack carried the same middle name as did my father and myself and my brothers. Would be nice to figure out where that came from. Do you have any photos of Barbara or by chance Walter.

Sure we are related but not going to try and figure it out - probably a few times removed.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Best wishes
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I have several photographs of Barbara and I can get copies of photos of Walter and Barbara which were taken before he left for Canada, there is also a picture of him with his brother and father.

Walter went ahead to Canada with his father, mother and brother, Barbara and the children were to follow later, but he was, as you have read, killed.

I do not know where the Warner name came from, I know the family farmed in Droyslenden, Lancs but I have not followed his line much further. Would you like me to email the copies of photos rather than post them here?

Cheers
Barbara
