Chesterfield/Staveley/Eckington Parish Records
« on: Monday 01 March 10 19:25 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone is able to search the parish records or Electoral Roll for William and Beatrice Eugenie Smith (maiden name also Smith).

1911 Census shows them living at Church Street Staveley, Eckington together with their two daughters whose births are shown in Freebdm as b. Chesterfield - Mabel Isabel b. 1906 and Winifred Eugenie b. 1907.

I am hoping to find out what other children they had - in particular boys (to carry on the name!), from the parish records and, if possible, where they were living after 1911 from Electoral rolls.

Yes - I have got their marriage certificate in 1904, stating that they were married at the Ebenzer Chapel Marsden Moor Staveley, Chesterfield.  Haven't been able to find anything about this chapel - i.e.. parish records, it was apparently a Primitive Methodist marriage.

Both William and Beatrice were living in Birmingham prior to their marriage - not sure when they moved up to Derbyshire.

I am about to order Beatrice's possible death certificate, in Ecclesall Bierlow in 1919,  - don't know if she did move there, also the possible birth certificates of the two children mentioned in 1911 census hoping I may get some more info. from them.

Many thanks for your help tho'.
