Hazel Graham following up on the thread. I would be keen to talk to Linda and Louise about our family history. Linda, I think you may have been in school with me in Wesley College.

I am following up once more on this thread, which definitely relates to my grandfather Fred Graham, late of Grahams of the Green, Dublin, gents outfitters. I would be very keen to talk to alexvictor25 - louisemccrea - or shanew147 Perhaps I am not replying the correct way?

Shane was last on Rootschat in 2013 but was just posting information on the thread. Louise seems to be logged in at the moment.

If you click on the symbol that looks like a chess pawn under the poster's name it will tell you when they were last active.
In the meantime spotted this -

In the 1960's photo already posted, there is a curved staircase 5/6 doors away - which also appears  in this photo.

Thank you hanes teulu and aghadowey! I now realise I can send a personal message through the site, which seems to trigger an email to alert the recipient - delighted to have just received a reply from louisemccrea above and look forward to talking to her! Unfortunately my personal message to alexvictor25 could not be sent as her Inbox is full. alexvictor25 is the closest relative I have found so I am disappointed by this.

Alexvictor25 only made that one post and they need at least two posts to use the Personal Message system which is why you have gotten that error message. IF they still have notifications turned on for this topic and haven't changed their email address you might get a response.

Thank you aghadowey. That explains why I never spotted the personal message icon previously. I'm hopeless with social media, so have no clue now how to find Alexvictor25. I only found this site a few years ago by chance, googling 'Gents outfitters'. Back to the drawing board, but still looking forward to talking to louisemccrea.
