Oh wow. I din't look at the date. I've just joined this forum and I searched for Longframlington because I live here and my family have been here for four generations. I saw a post that I could help with and chimed in.

Again thank you!

I have added to her entry on Billion Graves. Her son died in tragic circumstances too - a plane crash at Heathrow in 1965.

The Billion Graves app uses gps to show the exact location of the grave which is in a prominent position just inside the cemetery.

I live over 3 hours away but will visit as soon as possible.
Wilson in the Lancaster area

Nunn in Norfolk and Co Durham
Smith in Glasgow
Haig in Peebles/Edinburgh

It's good that you have a distinctive place to go and look. I hope your search goes well. I once recognised the place that one of my ancestors is buried because of the edge of the pub in the background of a picture.
