Cherry Lane Cemetary/completed
« on: Thursday 25 February 10 11:07 GMT (UK) »
If anyone is going to this cemetary I wonder if they would be kind enough to take a photo of my fathers gravestone .I have the plot no and know there was a headstone as I visited it as a child. It would be nice to have a photo as I now live in Oz and London Airport may take over the cemetary.

Hi Jeannette I have received the photos.Thank you so much they bring back lots of memories .My Stepdad and I used to ride our bikes out to Cherry Lane and put flowers on the grave, we lived in Southall. Can't quite believe how familiar it all looked after all this time.Again thank you so much. Jac

Hi Jane
Thanks for your message re Humprey/ries there are 2 different Humphries families one mainly from Oxfordshire with lots of rellies all over and one from Cheshire/Staffordshire /Wales not so many rellies.
I have been reading your messages with interest it seems you are living to near where I was born (West Drayton)?
I also will be at the Braunston Show in June I will be bringing the working boat Sculptor as I do every year.
Regards
Lorna
