Hi celia,

Not only has it got a graveyard, but the burial records are online on their website:

http://www.avyc14.dsl.pipex.com/resources.html

Link is already in the resources section.

Hope this helps,

Jean

Thanks Stan
I don't normally look for burials of  my own family, but i was wondering if my grandads sister and maybe her husband might be buried there.Because their children were christened in weaverham so thought it might have been their church :-\.

Hi Celia,

If your intention is to go to the church and look around the churchyard for the gravestone, contact the church first and make
an arrangement to meet someone from the church. They have a plan which shows the location, or plot numbers of the graves.
Beware the plan which is available with the book which is in local libraries is prone to error, the copy they have in the church is correct.

When i went about 3 years ago to find my Warburton graves they were extremely helpful, i think their plan was done by a student doing the
work as part of a college project.
I would also suggest that you take a brush and gardening gloves, my Warburton graves were overgrown in grass.

Hello Alan
I downloaded the burial records, the first ones i have ever seen 0n-line. There are Hignett burials on it but unfortunately to early for the ones i was hoping to find. The ones that were there might be connected to her hubands family (Hignett) which i wont be going into. No I wont be going to the church It would probably take half the day to get there on Public transport ;D

I have a christening  from Family search Pilot site 5th may 1895 it just says Christening place Weaverham. Can you suggest any other church Where Cecil Wesson James Hignett might have been christened.I do know now, he died before he was 10 so thought he might be buried around Weaverham :-\
