Welcome to rootschat...MacLean Fox.
Hopefully y: holly129  sees this thread soon...Perhaps I will private message her to let her know you're here in case notification is off...In the meantime... You will enjoy this site very much. To get the most out of it, please read the beginners information http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,287.0.html
I will also advise you remove any forenames of the living and use initials only. You can send any information of the living by private message  ( green scroll once you have 2 or more replies) ...To change a reply, just use the "modify" button.  all the best, J.J.

In the cemetery Debbie posted there is also a John & wife in there as well, perhaps a relative?

This site answer says there was a John born to the couple although that one seems to have gone to Saskatchewan...http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/thread.aspx?mv=flat&m=12220&p=localities.northam.canada.quebec.general
Their marriage apparently says David McLean and Mary Allen.. the Scottish did use Donald as interchangeable with Daniel, but not for David as far as I know...You'll need to look into all that to prove he is yours......

I entered my introductory topic on this line of McLeans....just figured out how to reply. I am Effie Pearl McLean's granddaughter. I titled my entry like this one....Effie married Joseph Crowe in 1911 and had 3 children: my dad, Louis Archibald; my aunt, Vivien Patricia; and my uncle Lloyd Ivan. My dad married in 1949; I (Bernice May) was born in 1950 and my brother (Donald Brent) in 1953. I have two daughters and two granddaughters. Most interested in finding out more! ;D

Do you know what religion they were?

I found a possible for George in 1901, and he is methodist.
Effie Pearl McLean was organist for United Church in Rossland BC and gave piano lesson to help support her family, as her second husband had passed away in 1924.
