PB = Parliamentary Borough MB = Municipal Borough. Deptford was not a village it was a district in the parish of Bishopwearmouth.

If you go to http://lewis.dur.ac.uk/pip/singlezoom.asp?img=p2389&ref1=2260 you can see the proposed Municipal Boundary and the Parliamentary Boundary marked on the map. The Municipal Borough eventually comprised Sunderland, Monkwearmouth, Monkwearmouth Shore, and as much  of Bishopwearmouth as lay within a mile radius of the centre of Wearmouth Bridge.
