Fully quoted here for clarity----
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that after the expiration of fourteen days from the publication hereof application will be made to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in its Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction that Letters of Administration of the estate of THOMAS ALFRED PROBERT late of Moonah in Tasmania Retired Federal Ser- vant deceased i
ntestate may be granted to THOMAS DAYMON PROBERT of Gladstone in Tasmania Labourer a son of the said deceased and CHARLES CLARENCE PITT of Moonah aforesaid Mechanic who have been appointed
by the persons entitled to the estate of the said deceased to |
so apply."
INTESTATE means he did not leave a will.
The meaning is that THOMAS PROBERT and CHARLES C PITT were appointed by those entitled to the Estate to make application for letters of Administration.
It does not say these two were the sole beneficiaries at all.
