I would appreciate any information regarding this Mitchell Family please.
I am researching Lillian D Mitchell Known as (Doris) and Henry Mitchell who lived in West Street, Crawley,Sussex, they were still living there  until the 1950s
Lillian D Mitchell known as (Doris) was born June 1900 Ifield Horsham & Married Henry Mitchell Dec 1941.

I would imagine the first step in your research will be to get her birth cert, to find the name of her parents.
Was Mitchell her maiden name aswell?

Would it be at all Possible for me to find any information about their occupations/ jobs they had during the time they lived in West Street, Crawley Sussex in the 40s/50s.? I don't know the area and any ides would be very helpful

Birth certs for any children they had in that era?
They would give fathers occupation.

Are there no rellies around other than yourself who would remember?
